Our Mission
Our mission is to conduct thorough surveys and research to build a comprehensive Data Bank that reflects the socio-economic and cultural conditions of communities throughout Lagos State. This crucial data informs our strategies and guides our efforts to effectuate significant improvements in rural areas.
Core Responsibilities
Rural Electrification
Our Rural Electrification initiative focuses on extending reliable and sustainable electrical power to underserved rural areas in Lagos State. By deploying modern infrastructure and leveraging renewable energy sources, we aim to enhance the quality of life for residents, support local businesses, and drive economic development. This effort not only addresses basic energy needs but also fosters educational opportunities, healthcare improvements, and overall community growth.
Fishery
The Fishery program is dedicated to advancing sustainable practices and boosting productivity within the local fishing industry. We support rural communities by providing training, resources, and technological innovations to enhance fishery operations. Our goal is to improve fishery yields, ensure environmental sustainability, and create economic opportunities for local fishers, thus contributing to food security and economic resilience in rural Lagos State.
Re-baiting
Our Re-baiting initiative focuses on optimizing fishing practices to enhance efficiency and sustainability. By promoting best practices in bait management, we help local fishers reduce waste and increase their catch rates. This program includes training on effective baiting techniques and the provision of high-quality bait materials. Through re-baiting, we aim to support the local fishery industry, improve economic outcomes for fishers, and ensure the long-term health of aquatic ecosystems.
